Job Description:
You are a skilled account manager with specific knowledge in the geospatial industry and space remote sensing, with a passion for seeing the industry thrive. As a Technical Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in our business development efforts by leveraging your technical background and geospatial industry experience to forge lasting partnerships and move accounts forward towards a successful and long-lasting business relation.

You will be given ownership of accounts to move forward towards closing, working closely with the product and sales team to identify and address specific challenges and opportunities and how these can be solved with Cognitive Space’s product. To execute, you will be expected to generate exceptional sales material to move engagements forward, such as presentations, reports, tailored demonstrations, use cases, and proposals.

As a small team, we hold many roles and value team members that are innovative, self-reliant and flexible. Ideal candidates will have a background as a sales engineer, solutions architect, applications engineer, or product leads that have engaged in sales efforts. You will report to our VP of Product Management.

This position will involve travel to customer locations and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Drive revenue growth and close accounts by effectively communicating the value of our solutions and understanding customer requirements. Customer and partner base includes geospatial analytics firms, resellers and Government organizations.
  • Customer segments: Determine innovative approaches to address different customer segments and specific value proposition for each segment.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with potential customers with tailored material such as presentations, demonstrations and reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients in the geospatial industry at both business relations and technical levels.
  • Product Feedback: Work closely with the product management team to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into future product enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Geospatial experience: 3+ years proven experience in a related position in the geospatial industry, with a strong understanding of the remote sensing domain and applications.
  • Business Development: Strong business development skills with a record of accomplishment in building, closing and maintaining successful BD relations.
  • Technical Skills: Technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with a strong commitment to customer success, while also having the ability to work independently.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field is preferred, such as geospatial sciences, engineering, or space systems.
  • Location: You are in the greater Denver area, or willing to relocate
  • Citizenship: You are a US Person (U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident)

Salary :
$110,000 - $140,000
